Welcome to my portfolio!

When I'm not playing rugby, whitewater kayaking or snowboarding,
I am a reporter at Central Oregon Daily News, the ABC and CBS affiliate in Bend, OR.

I graduated from the University of Oregon in March 2022 with a BA in journalism and cultural anthropology and gained extensive hands-on experience as a multimedia journalist during my time at the university, which allowed me to work as a reporter straight out of college.

Every day I pitch stories, interview, script write, shoot footage, edit footage and present my story live on air. During my time with Central Oregon Daily News, I have also learned how to produce both the daily news show and our website content, which includes running the social media pages.
Previously, I held the multimedia director position for Ethos Magazine where I directed stories and produced my own. While at Ethos, I was able to flex my creative video skills while highlighting underrepresented and diverse people, issues and places.
Over the 2021 summer, I utilized my dual citizenship to participate in an internship in London, England as a multimedia journalist with Pioneers Post. This online publication focuses on social enterprise news while maintaining its own status as a social enterprise. From covering Locavore, a Glasgow-based supermarket, receiving game-changer funding to Adrenaline Alley—an indoor skatepark in Corby, England—becoming home to two of the first BMX Olympians, my time in the U.K. was well spent.
While I was a student, I was also active in the student-run broadcast channel at UO, Duck TV. I held a reporter/anchor position with DTV News for two years and was promoted to a news producer/anchor position during my third year.
While I have primarily focused on news and visual journalism, I was also a part of the 2021 U.S. Track and Field Olympic Trials and 2021 NCAA Track and Field media operations teams. I moderated and conducted several post-event interviews with Olympians, up-and-coming athletes, and head coaches.
After trying my hand at track and field media, I joined the Oregon Track Club as a video producer for its 'OTC Legacy Project' which highlighted the decades-long careers of track and field officials.
